60 Runs finally payed off.

Finally, after hours upon hours of killing Dolmolms I get my reward. A legit Monkey King Bar, 0/0/0/0, but still yay.

It took 899 Dolmolms, thats 60 runs with one dolmolm spare. I was using the new quest as quick access to dolmolms and whew, it took time but it was worth it.

*Stumbles off to collect Photon Drops for a legit Bkb ;D

Nice one. Now we know it works, and it's easier than Seabed Runs IMO. I just wish my Redria was any use.

No, the new quest, Resting at the Beach. Nobody has listened to me about how you can more easily find rares here, maybe they will now.

Interesting point - with a high level FOmar we were doing the quest in 3 minutes, killing 15 Dolmolms each time and restarting. If your FO is Redria then I recommend people get there and try this quick - use Megid or lightning techs boosted with a merge and Sigh of a God, you can get an MKB pretty quickly considering the rarity of the item.

Now I really really wish they'd put the quest out on PSOX-EU fast...

In a way it's sad. They create a fun little quest designed for people to interact and have fun. As an amusement factor they add an easter egg, and now what? Everyone will start doing beach runs like mad completely forgetting what the quest was supposed to be.

Remember you only get 15 mosters per quest then you have to exit and restart.

Also I think the keywords "dark" and "light" bring on a few more but only work once.

Nah they dont. Im working on my second monkey king bar now. 10 Runs, 2 Photon drops. Its strange how in my first 60 i never got a single one.
