How many of you out there give Ryuker to your beginning players that can use it? I don't mean giving it to them and waiting till they can use it when they level up, but actually giving them a mag that will boost their MST to 150 so they can use it? I hate carrying telepipes around, so whenever I start a new character, I always loud them up with my force and give them Ryuker...

How many other people do this?

I try to give it my chars as early as possible, cause in the beginning it's hard to find many telepipes being dropped and you need all your meseta for fluids and spells. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif It also gets to be annoying when you don't have any telelpipes to get you back to Pioneer 2 when your a long way from the original telelport. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif

I do if they can learn it........, there should be a guide on how to help starting characters!!!!!

I gave my RAmar a POW/DEX Mag and he never came anywhere near a /Mind unit or a Mag with MIND on it. He reached Ult before he learned Ryuker. >_>; (Granted, he beat Falz at L43, but.)
Usually my new chars are twinked to hell and back anyways, so if they're a FO, they can probably learn it already. Don't always have a disk, though, so sometimes they just use pipes until the items ho will sell them a Ryuker disk(And of course the very first thing I give my FOs before -anything- else, even a MIND Mag, is at least 100k meseta).

I just gave my FOmar 4 angel minds and he could use almost all tchniques.
He could use all level 1 techs (or higher) when I gave him a MIND/POW mag

Yeah, I do that all the time. Saves me a space in my inventory. Not to mention all the meseta I save. ^_^

I do it depending on how fast I want the character to grow.

I remember twinking my FOmar Rune Walsh for the first time.....i went totally overkill ever seen a psycho wand wielding level 1? it didnt last too long cause i killed myself with one casting lol. so i just use a caduceus every now and then but mostly unarmed. i always have a extra ryuker disc handy

Um yah, this is a commonly used technique, at least it used to be. Simply XFer your legitimately gained items from one character to another to boost it's stats. Sometimes only to read tech disks, sometimes for longer to level up.

Nothing new http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif Some people view this as an illigitimate way of leveling new characters. I view it as simply "helping out your family" by loaning them items to give them a boost. If the items are legit, then I see no issues.

I'm mostly my RAcast so I get used to carrying Telepipes hehe. But I do twink my characters with my FO's mag so that they can learn shifta/deband/jellen/zalue/resta/ryuker earlier.

Ryuker is nice, dont get me wrong and I'm a good FO (lv 138 and lv 134 both under 200hrs each) but ruyker is ONLY good if you meander along at a snails pace, dropping pipes in every room. In the heat of a battle when ur cornered by god knows what a telepipe is always will be the best! There just simple isnt enough time to spell cast, which is ironic considering almost all of a FO's spells are faster in offense than a HU's Hard attack...

agreed, but a ryuker disk saves a bunch of meseta in the first few levels, though given you didnt tweak the chara to slay godlike through everything and dont get even hit up to hard ruins...
