GC-Quest: Where's Bernie!!!!?????

Couple of things I could use a hand with plllllllllease...

I'm doing the necessary quests offline so I can come online and get a Ragol Ring http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif I have followed the Sue Sublot and am now on the last quest required "Black Paper"

So, anyhooo, I have met up with Sue in Pioneer 2 and asked her what her purpose is [as stated in the guide] and then it says to speak to Bernie in Cave 1 after you've spoken to Sue... Now this is where my problem has arrisen... I CANT FIND BERNIE ANYWHERE IN CAVE 1... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif *sob sob*

Can someone point me in the right direction as to where the bugger is hiding :0

PS By the way, when Bernie finally introduced himself to me, he actually introduced himself as BARNIE and not BERNIE!!!! What gives????

You know, I was just doing this like, yesterday, and I've already forgotten(I have nothing better to do). But IIRC, you almost can't miss him in Black Paper. O_o; Or maybe it's Waterfall Tears that you almost can't miss him in... Meh. Check the area map and look for the almost-impossible-to-see blue icon marking his location. You need good eyes, but if you find it you can figure out how to get there... ^^;

Thing is, I have been in every room in C1 and he isn't in any of them... There is a room that is pitch black but I walked all around that too and he isnt there!!! I'm in cave 2 now and he isnt anywhere there either, do I have to defeat the quest then he appears in C1 ????????????

That's odd. You did talk to Sue until she left/wouldn't say anything new, right? If you didn't, that could be it. If you did, I don't know what to tell you. You can try using Word Select to check if he's there in Caves 1, too. If it lets you send to him, well, just start looking on the area map for a blue arrow and find your way there. If it doesn't, he's not showing up for some reason I'm too tired to figure out(Been up 48 hours straight at this point, my brain is fried X_x;)

I'm not exactly sure, but I believe he would be in a room that is opened with a switch and has a healing ring (healigig) inside it. If not, and you're positive Sue bailed out on ya, then maybe you didn't talk to him elsewhere in the quest line. Try looking for a room that is opened by a switch. That might be his hiding spot.

Oooooooooooooook, here we go... lol... I search every spot and Bernie was no where to be found [Sue had definately bailed]. So I finished the quest and went online to do Seat of Heart, and low and behold after the intro, Sue and Kileek are there talking to the gaffa while Im piping down to the Temple... My heart lifted I finished the quest and am presented with the Ragol Ring... yipeee!!! What I didnt know though was that it also acts as a Scape Doll and disappears if you are killed... ooooh gotta be extra careful now... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Bernie does appear in Black Paper, in fact you can't miss him. I think he's on the crossroads bit, I can't remember offhand but it's to the east of the huge room with the hole and the lava flows on the outside.

I have no idea what quest your talking about (offline i'm guessing) but there are maps on this guide. Go to the quests part and look for the type of quest that fits your topic. It should tell you where he is.
