I just had my Rati heal me when I was low health, but didn't get healed fully. I think I read somewhere that it is supposed to heal you fully. Is it or is it only supposed to cast a mid level Resta?

It casts Resta, thats all. And No Resta will heal you fully when you have high enough Hp.

Ok. Then why in the master mag gallery does the symbol for the heal switch when it goes from normal to rare mags? Different level Resta?

The symbol doesn't change. The swirly one stands for Invincibility, The Resta symbol stands for Resta, and the S/D symbol stands for...

The HP restore of some of the special ver 3 mags just restores it just enough so it's not in the yellow anymore. This is why there's a different symbol, since it doesn't like those of the other mags that perform Resta.

Ok, I don't remember what I was thinking of then, I remember seeing something where the symbol for heal was Resta on normal mags, on the Episodes 1&2 exclusives, it said HP.

I thought for sure it was here, might have been replaced by Resta symbol when the guide was updated.

Those special abilities are really weak. Like the shifta&deband is also very low.
And the IQ does matter for the resta and shifta deband special abilities or photon blasts. And synchro for attacking photon blasts, and always it has been said that higher syncro means faster PB gain... sometimes i tested this and I couldnt't say there was a difference.

heheh i just wanted to quote all the quotes, u could call it time wasting if u wanted =)

i thought it casts your resta lvl, im basing this on me being a HUcast, so my Deva (that is a glorified stool) casts pretty much lvl 0 or 1 resta, i havnt been hit since my RAmar got his Rati yet lol, so he hasnt needed a mag resta =)

Hmm, I'm going to look into that. I've only really used one of the ver. 3 special mags that does the HP restoration on an android.

Edit: I tried it out with my RAcaseal's mag (a Pushan) on her and my FOmarl. My FOmarl got quite a decent a good amount of HP restored, while my RAcaseal didn't even get enough restored to get her out of the yellow. It looks like androids have been shafted by ST, yet again.
