Yep Mome is the unsealed door NPC that tags along with you. FSODX= frozen screen of Death Extreme, and thats the one that corrupts your char.

MOME only apperes in one quest that he helps you (help he doesnt help HE STANDS THERE AND DIES THE BASTARD!) and i know some people will only do quests if they are REALLY bored and ae hooked on PSO. So it quite easy to miss him.

BTW: in the topic title you asked what is PSOX, and i hope for ur sake ur on GC or DC, then i will excuse you. if your on xbox...well i can say you dont have much common sense...

I remember the SOD's in the dreamcast version. There was one for each colour. bsod, gsod, rsod, ysod. They just sound silly, but why death? it's not like it'll kil you

RSOD is the GC freezing, not the game. I've RSOD'd in a bunch of games other than PSO and I used to do it all the time before I sent the GC to Ninty to fix it.

RSOD = Reset screen of death

meaning when your stood in the lobby sum goon with a gameshark can reset your DC dunno if its around on GC or Xbox tho yet

FSOD = FRozen screen of death

obvios what that is

BSOD = Black screen of death

Same as FSOD but with a black screen

Think thats all of the very common ones

Actually RSOD makes your console reset. In other words start the game up again in the middle of while you were playing. Freezing has nothing to do with it. By the way RSOD only happened on the Dreamcast as far as I know. That is because it was done by a Xploder code. Or like in your case the console could reset because it wasn't manufactured properly.
