My PSO is teasing me!!!

for the past couple of weeks almost every time i play my fonewearl the game keeps teasing me :grr:
i do runs to search for rares. (who doesnt) and this time i was going thru the seabed, hoping for something good; such as a devil/tech, tripolic shield, or a psycho wand. well anwyays... the enemy that would drop one of those rares happens to drop a red box! O_O so i go to pick it up, hoping its a devil/tech, and guess what it was. it was a photon drop http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_bash.gif
another time i was going thru the spaceship, hoping for a god/ability, in which gulgus-gue drops it, well... he drops a red box! and guess what it was... yep, thats right, another stupid photon drop http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif
why PSO? why?

does this happen to any of you?

this is more common than you think.

guess what - fonewearl, seabed run #5 (of around 10 due to today) - first redbox at all: a darn indra-wand (meh, as if she wouldnt find that everywhere else...)

just go on and be happy about the exp you get. i'd see rares dropping as a nice topping onto the "exp-cake".

Photon Drops arent that bad if you play legit, think about all the things you can exchange for it: barriers, special for Srank weapons, magic stones,...)
If you dupe then PDs can of course be a disappointment, seen the fact that you can have 99 in a min. of time :-s
But yeah, between finding by example, an Evil Curst (hardest item to find legitly) and a photon drop, I would most certainly chose the first one!

I remember being offline and getting my first pd... I checked on the net first thing and found out that it was online only... Then I started SELLING them!!! >__< WHAT WAS I THINKING!?!

It happened to me with trying to find Sinow Beat's arms. Although I can't complain because I've only found 24 PDs. Once I find 397 there WILL be a problem.

on my legit character ive found one photon drop which is distressing...exactly the opposite of yuor views on photon drops. I did however get my yamatos finally hehehe

Believe me you aren't the only one. I've killed plenty of critters that were suppose to drop those godly rares (pupleium Tallow drops a red box P. drop instead of Lavis cannon, Chaos socerer drops p drop instead of arm, ect.) and gotten those losy P drops instead. Personaly I think the music disks and P drops should switch places. We could get the disks offline and the p drops online. Makes more sense anyway.

This also happened to me.I was doing the Ult. mines over and over, looking for a Kasami Bracer and The real Agito (sinow blue and red drops) and they just dropped PDs http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif . Yea it is. My friend who can get online gave me some and warned me to dupe them before I use them. They are one use items that change the current BGM to something else, one is a NiGHTS song, another is a weeding song, the third is something else. In anycase they are useful and fun....which is the polar opposite of P drops. Hence why I think enemies should drop music disks in place of of P drops and P drops should ONLY drop online. When was the last time an offline user actually USED a P drop?

Ok try this one. I play in Caves one with my Viridia Humar. I see a Pan Arms(I'm in that one variation of caves where pan arms will appear). I attack it, it splits i run and wait for it to reform it does and I attack again. IT Dies and drops a red box! I run up yelling Sange!Sange!Sange! and.....P drop. >__< Words following are too harsh for children's ears. So i continue Caves three last room before boss. I fight A Meelqueek and 2 Vulmers. I kill one Vulmer and i ruin away to heal, shoot the meelqueek and he dies dropping another red box! "Yasha!Yasha!Yasha!Yasha! Ya- A MOTHER******** P DROP!!!! *************************(long string of words that shall not be repeated...) And that's my nightmare that is a reality. I would have had a legit sange yasha from one run but was stomped on by the almighty P drop. *goes off to cry yet again*

Oh yeah the last Vulmer dropped another Gae bolg which also fueled my anger.

This happens to me more often than not. I got 28 PD's from hildets before i finally got a luminous filed, spanning over 10,000 hildets, then i got the worst lum. in history............
