Psycho Wand? Why does everyone want one?

I know it cuts TP usage in half...but besides that...what makes it so coveted? And what does the special do anyhow?

Pyscho wand casts random techniques according the database but i think someone said it only casts foie barta and zonde

Also, i think it boosts RA techs by 30%.

I is the best wand for fonewearl and fonewm. Because techs are the things they can rely on during ultamite. Its practically impossible to make a melee fonewearl, god she cant use a good amount of weapons. Pwand is very good, but if you play legit, dont expect to get one anytime soon.

It has good tech boosts, free spells (of limited use, really) and halves TP cost letting you cast more per trip/fluid.

Not correct. It, as a downside, takes the entire normal cost of the spell from your HP as well as half from your TP.

it's not that bad unless your fighting someone that does alot of base damage.

Sooo... what would this mean for Resta? If you're at 1 HP and you cast Resta, does it kill you? Not that anyone who could cast Resta would be so lacking in initiative that they WOULDN'T cas it until that critical level, but... this is a hypothetical proposition.

And, then there's the Del Lily to worry about.

So, would the Psycho Wand kill you to cast Resta at HP: 001, or not?

Been tried. You technically run out of Hp, then resta happens so you don't die. According to Vulpes Mundi, at least.

sounds interesting but as far as i know weapons that take away hp won't take any away if you have only 1 hp left it will just use the special like normally. By the way i've been with 1 hp left on many occaisons and have still been able to get through the area alive. Thanks to my trusted raygun lol

actually i died while over casting spells with my psycho wand, didnt even look at my health but yeah, it did kill me. but i love the pyscho wand, the health is well worth the decreased tp cost. just gotta keep resta extra handy.

No, first it shows up as ?SPECIAL WEAPON and when you get it tekked, it shows up as PSYCHO WAND (In all caps and yellow text)

Um... Psycho Wand is the correct spelling for it, and the special uses a random simple technique (Foie, zonde, barta) at the cost of some HP/TP. if you do get low enough and use the special attack, then it can kill you (unlike a berserk item)

Also note that having a Psycho Wand equipped online does not let the other players see your decreased HP. Must be a bug.
