I am starting as a lv 34 HUcast for a laugh........................i have done all but 1 mission at the hunters guild: "The Retired Hunter"! If i finish this mission (which i admit i am having trouble with as i don't know my way around ruins 2 and 3) will i then be able to select Hard mode o singleplayer?[img]:-x

No. In single player you have to beat the main game boss, Dark Falz in order to unlock hard mode offline.

Nope. The only way to access the next difficulty in offline single-player is to defeat either Dark Falz or Olga Flow, then sit through the credits. In other words: you can't do it while playing quests.

Edit: the good news is that you only have to defeat one of them to access both episodes in the next difficulty. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Your character should be more than able to beat him now. You only need to be level 40 to play multiplayer Vhard, and you're almost that in normal. For Normal, it's a matter of ATP and ice resist, after that your progress depends on your HP mostly.

Depends on how much HP you have for Falz. Olga I'd leave until you're an expert at him before trying for him at low levels. He's a pain in the arse. Falz, Normal, Offline, you need 131 HP. As soon as you can manage that, you can technically kill him.

After you beat Normal and sit through the credits, you'll have a screen after episode select where you can chose your difficulty.

If you're Lv20 you should be able to beat him.

My HUne beat him at Lv18 or so (of course she was using a MAG with 175 POW, a God/Power, and a God/Battle, swinging a TWIN BRAND +60, http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif ) so at your level you should definatly be able to beat Normal Dark Falz. N-DF is VERY easy http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Olga Flow is the final boss of Episode II, found at the end of Seabed. He is a lot tougher than Dark Falz (my RAmarl couldn't beat N-OF until she was Lv40 =| )

And after you beat the final boss of either episode, a transporter will show up, and it's destination reads as "Epilouge". Take it, and you will see the credits. Afterwards, the game saves, and you're back at the main menu. When you go back to single player, and select your char that just beat DF/OF, when you pick an episode it will ask you what difficulty you want to play under (at that point only NORMAL and HARD will be slectable)
