I don't play often offline anymore, but since my HL expried last week and it'll take some time to get reinstated - I got fooling around a bit offline last night. She stomped Ult Ruins quite easily. Even melee'd against Dark Falz, and he wasn't much of a challenge. Died twice - once to a Gran Sorcerer's Megid and once to Dark Falz's RAbarta/Darvant combo. Nothing else even came close. n_n She was dropping most everything in one combo.. with the exception being Belra's, Chaos Bringers, and Dark Falz himself.

I'm also up to Ultimate CCA, and not having much difficulty. Hopefully Seabed will prove to be the challenge I'm looking for. I don't think it will be, as even online it's not much of a problem - but I do have to rely on my techs a bit more there, and I also have 3 beefy meatsheilds taking blows for me while I dish out the punishment from behind. n_n

At high levels coupled with S/D, my FOnewearl takes a total of like 10 damage from a Merlan in Ult Ruins and can dish out up to 550 dmg per hit in a 6 hit combo. Many people on my teams, they don't take damage at all. Those 4 spells alone make my FOnewearl a much more vercitile fighter than my HUmar. She may not be able to do more damage - but she can last a helluva lot longer in a fight. Not only that, but J/Z tags for exp - and with the range of those spells at high level, you're pretty much guanteed to get exp off of every single monster killed. It makes leveling up much easier.

Even at low levels, it's very useful. A HUmar with lvl 15 Jellen can cut the damage he recieves from a monster nearly in half. I guess people are just too lazy to cast em, since it has to be cast for each new monster spawned unlike S/D which stays in effect anywhere from 2 to 20 minuites.

Due to the nature of my equipment (almost everything is a hunter weapon, and I have very few spinner class weapons), I'm usually too close to effectively cast JZ without getting whipped before the spell is actually cast. Heh.. you wuss. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif My FOnewearl tends to run right smack for the center of the largest pack of monsters she can find before casting J/Z to maximize it's effect. It's a little wreckless, and she's ocassionally gotten herself into trouble doing that when unseen mines and enemies like Chaos Bringers, Delbiters, or Ob Lillies spawn off-camera and decide to aim for the nearest target, me - but it's nothing she's ever not able to handle. I find the danger of the situation exciting and often it turns out to be the sole source of challenge left in many Ep I games anymore.

Oh yeah.. and progress report. I just got around to finishing up with Ult Seabed offline (Or as I like to call it, Megid-A-Go-Go) this morning. Pitifully easy. So that makes her progress as: COMPLETED.

Agreeeeeeeed. I only use my equipment because 95% of the time, I'm doomed in ultimate without it. X) Granted, I've got techs, but with no Ra, Gi, or even basic tech bonus, I can't really do much except S&D, J&Z, and hope that the Ob lillies don't hit me. X) I've personally encountered a lot of n00bs in ultimate, the kind of people of the mindset "look out for #1," or "everyone else sucks but me."

...these kind of people I don't heal. ^_^ Hell, I've got a story about a HUmar from last night... X)
