Sometimes when you tekk a weapon it makes a noise after, what is this? Is it showing you have a weapon youve never tekked befre or is it showing you tekked it to its max.

I was wondering about that sound too... And no: I don't think you ear it everytime, I guess it's triggered by a particular event. >_>;

Yeah Neko, thats what I was thinking. Which leads me to believe that the game may keep a record of what you have tekked. Sealed J sword anyone?

i read something really old (dc ver1 days) that when you tek a weapon and get the nifty sound, you tekked it to it's max (or at least near its max)...

you can mostly hear it when you tekk the elemental to it's top (for instance, hell for 1hit kill) or 15% (not really sure if it works with 10%.. but i got the sound when i tekked my Hell Raygun +10% from untekked) percent raise from original untekked...

Since there IS no 15% raise in percents, I'm gonna have to say it's not a particularly meaningful sound.

then scratch the 15% and put in the 10%...
no wonder i never got one of those... but people keep saying you can tek it to up +15%.. oh well

still, i tend to get the sound every time i tekk a weapon to it's best elemental... or even when the grind on it is high enough (for example, from a +2 untekked to a +8 tekked)...

I always get that sound when I choose to Equip the item after I tek it, but meh.

I think, that it does that when the Abiltity is a High status. Like Blizzard or Burning.

i notice the little music clip when i tekked w/ a new element &/or lev
doesnt matter max elem. or lev.. just something you never tekked for before
