Right now I have two chars that I use a lot. One is purplenum HUcast, the other is a pinkal FOmar. I was wondering if it would be worth my time to pipe for a P-wand with my HUcast for my FOmar. I'm not sure if it is really meant for a FOmar, since he has the lowest MST. Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated. Also, if you have any suggestions for what weapon you think think is best for a FOmar please share them. Right now he is using a Summit Moon. Thanks for reading.

My FOmar's standard equipment:
BRINGER'S RIFLE +9
RED SABER +60
RAINBOW BATON +24
DEMONIC FORK
CADUCEUS
Charge Gatlings with 45% Hit
TWINKLE STAR
PLANTAIN HUGE FAN

Geez I carry a lot of weps.. better not FSOD x.x

Obviously, though, if you are using a Psycho Wand, you aren't a melee FoMar.

Hmm, well.

If I'm correct..and I'm not sure I am, P-wand gives an ATP boost. Not sure about that though..I'll look now.

...*elevator music*

Hr. It's..

ATP + 395-400
ATA + 55
Special = Casts technique, TP costs decreases by 50% but consumes HP.
Class = Rod
Required MST: 900
Stars: 12

So there. Not only does it half TP usage, but..it takes the other half from your HP: a draw back I don't like about it.

Ontop of that, it boosts RA-Techs 30% I think.

Anyway..since FOmars can be used as melee chars, too, that might be worth it. Really it's up to you. Personally, I think it's worth the 30% RA boost/TPHP 50/50, but that's just my opinion.

But, if you decide to pipe for it..good luck.

The Psycho Wand takes the full cost of the spell from your HP, not 1/2 (only the Dark Bridge does that).

Technique Bonuses Guide (http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=472) shows that it is 30% to RA/Hard Techniques (except Megid & Grants, possibly).

I think i'll give piping a try. I just hope I have the patience to go through possibly 300+ mils. Thanks for your replies and advice.

^ Really? No P-Wands for my FOs. I don't like that at all.

Full cost of the spell.. interesting..
so if a FOnewearl at Lv1 somehow managed to equip it, and cast Lv30 Grants (70+ TP I think) could it simply kill the FO?

The HP cost isn't even a problem. All u have to do is cast the occasional Resta.

There was another topic where I ended up testing it based on Grants damage. It affects Grants, and I don't see why it wouldn't boost Megid.
