An Unintentional Item Hunting Strategy n_n

You know how when you're hunting an item you'll find something completely different instead? Here's a solution: trick yourself into believing that the item you're looking for is dropped by a different critter.

Recently, I was hunting an Attribute Wall with my Purplenum HUmar in Ep.II. Somehow, perhaps between being sick and on problematic medication, I thought it was dropped by Gibbles. At any rate, I was doing East Tower runs online. Just about ever other mini-boss beastie (and the Delbiters too) were droppin' those fashionable red boxes. But then, on the last floor where there are three Gi Gue's buzzing around, boosing my PB with spikey fire bomb assaults (intentionally sprung, of course), the last one plops a red box. "Photon Drop," I think to myself, "or otherwise dingy red doo-doo."

Much to my surprise, it was nothing of the sort. Printed all in captial yellow letters it read: ATTRIBUTE WALL. Wow. I had myself fooled into a spectacular surprise!

Before I quit i was hunting for a freakin meteor cudgel with my RAcast. Arlan drops it. I never found one but I found 3 Red Mechs while hunting for the cudgel.

i find that as soon as i put the drop charts down and think "forget that elusive red box", it drops.

In VHard VR Spaceship, Delsabers drop Attribute Walls very often for me. One time, I found two in one room.

The meds were problematic because we were switching me off of one medicine to another at a time where my body was already busy with a rather nasty knock-you-on-your-butt illness. And then I was getting side-effects - primarily headaches, nausea, and dizziness.
