Well I am a Star Wars fan and I don't like the idea of this cartoon. But knowing me the way I am I'll watch the first episode and make final judgement then. But from the pics and the commercial I've seen the character designs and overall look suck.

PSO weapons are inspired by Star Wars. Like Sabers and Double Saber. The Crush Bullet looks like Chiewies Cross Bow lol

Yeah, PS in general is heavily influenced by Star Wars. The girl who designed the series (Arg, can't remember her name!) even admited that the RobotCops in PS1 were basically Storm Troopers.

And by the way, wasn't there an Ewok cartoon sometime in the 80's? I'm positive there was one, but I can't remember the name of it or what channel it aired on.

I'll probably be too busy slapping people with my lightsaber in Jedi Academy to pay attention...

Starwars has declined because Lucas depends too heavily on the computer graphics. Yoda is only so good without being a muppet. There is a certain quality lacking in the newer ones. PSO may have been influenced by Star Wars, doesn't make it the same calibur.

Luke, use the force. Go to Degobah

Lucas Arts DOES relie too heavily on computer graphics. Does anyone feel the original episodes 4,5 and 6 have a more concrete feel. All the objects in star wars, empire strikes back, and return of the jedi featured real materials. Not computer generated images.

I have seen star wars about a billion times. Sometimes I ponder whether this has a biased effect on my view of the series thus far. However I really analyzed the situation and looked at the early 3 movies. They really do look, and feel more real than the latest installments of the starwars series.

They don't look like cheesy star-trek models, they look like large, heavy, weighted objects, in deep space. Yoda looked way better in empire strikes back than he ever did in eps1 or 2.

I'm not really complaining, I am simply pointing out that the original 3 movies featured "supposedly" out-dated techniques in cinema that I feel made the visual experience more realistic than todays computer FX.

On topic- The original three movies were the best, and choice parts of the new ones.

The Star Wars Cartoon doesn't look that bad... As for Ep 1&2... Episode 1's good part was the whole Darth Maul vs Obiwan and Qui Gon part and the 2nd Episode good part was the droids vs. Jedi fight... other than that, crap acting and too much CG....
