Unless a gun like that actually exists in the game (which, to my knowledge, one doesn't), that won't happen. Sure someone could alter the code to allow it to exist, but it would only exist on their system and not on everyone else's.

Take it, of course...then yell at the guy, give bad feedback, and drop it in an offline quest and "forget" about it **innocent whisle**. The best way to deal with a hacked item is to "forget" about it. Send it back where it belongs (not in the game).

I'd say, "No thanks, I prefer to use average weapons. You should try it." Depending on how nice they respond, I might even give them something quasi-mediocre to start them off.
