Smoking Plate

Who here owns a smoking plate? If you found it, then please explain how and when (beat times). I have done a bazillion ruins runs. Since I'm yellowboze, in theory I should have found one off an Arlan quite some time ago by now. But not a single damn smoking plate yet. For those who actually have it; how good is it? Do you people like it? Should I even be trying so hard to get it?

well i have one but its probly duped, (got it in a trade, 0 slots though) anyways its slightly better than my df field. and my df is what my hucast uses so ya id say it should kick major ass. i have a yellowboze too but i dont do many ruins runs. i have manged to find a legit spreed needle though. keep searching and you'll probly get it.

i have one, got it during a run through ruins with my bros yellowboze character. It seems to have better def and eva then my df field as well, but since only a fonewm can use it, i havent gotten the chance to test it out, planning on making a fonewm in the near future. oh yeah and it was like maybe my fourth or fifth run with my bro through ultimate ruins. But for both my greenil and redria character it seems that i have found most of my good rares between 9 and ten in the morning and night. Could just be coincidences, but ive gotten two df fields, sange, bringer's arm, and a luminous field around that time.

hmm, smoking plate is dropped by arlan, cool. I guess i have to start lvlin my yellowboze and do ult ruins runs.

Smoking Plate is the best armor for a FOnewm...and it's just as good as the Aura Field,and it looks cooler. ;P

I got mine about a week ago. Yellowboze Arlan is the best way to find one.

It's a piece of junk, looks terrible, and is inferior to pretty much every other armor for the one class that can use it.

Yeah, class-only items are somewhat blech. Especially since most classes don't have any. Nothing just HUmars can use, nothing just FOmars can use, nothing just RAmarls can use(AFAIK), etc. And HUnewearls have two things only they can use, you're forgetting the Heart of Poumn. ^^;

I don't know what version of PSO you're playing but in the current version that most people here play, the Smoking Plate is the 2nd strongest armor in the game. I guess I can't expect much out of you anyways, with your debunking of the strongest partisan in the game, etc.
