Xbox question: Moving chars to mem card

Hi all,
my Xbox's network adaptor has been acting flakey lately, and since I have 3 characters over lvl 120, I really don't want to trade it in on a new one.

Question is, can I *move* my individual characters to a memory card, trade my Xbox for a new one, then move those characters back onto the new one?

If anyone has experience doing this, please let me know!

i am looking for the same question too, my dvd rom in my xbox is crapping out and i called up xbox tech support. They said that PSO is the only game that can't copy from console to console. They just pissed me off. Right now, i don't know should i trade in my xbox. sigh...
