Fellow rangers I have a question

I am lvl 101 and I am in the Ultimate Mines. I was just wondering what equipment you fellow rangers used when fighting Vol Opt ver.2. I am in greennill by the way. My Equipment is as follows.

Justy +15
Holiness Sheild
-Metal Body
-Metal Body
-Metal Body
-Resist/Shock
Custom Barrier ver 00
Pushan 24/3?/25/24

Full of fluids and mates.

Is this equipment ok or do I need to get better stuff(I know the rifle sucks but i try to get better ones)

The Justy was the first weapon I have stayed with for more than 5 months. I put it in the Bank because it just didnt do enuff damage. Use a MKB like I do.

I think any of the YASIMKOV (sp?) guns would be better. You might try a red mechgun with good hit or machine %.

Oh i try to get the Yasmonkov 3000R off the Gillchichs but they never drop it.

Well i dont think i will use the MKB because my section ID cant get it and none of my other chraracters are that far in the game.

Yeah i have tried twice but he always gets me with that trap thing when he shoots the death beam at me

You have to run from it at just the right time, and keep running until it's done "chasing" you.

I'd recommend getting the rare drop from Pal Rappy for armor since you are exactly at the minimum lvl. to equip it. BTW, have you had any luck finding Addslots with your greenill?

its funny you should mention that because like 30 mins ago i got the guard wave fromt he pal rappy. i need to do some normal forest runs now to get some add slots.

Good luck on that. Normal seems monotimous (oooh, big word!) to me after reaching hard. I usually never have the patience to go through just to find addslots.

realistly if you can get up to vol obt, all you need to do is have enough hp to survive his strongest attack

which i think is his trap beam. i would replace the metal/bodys with dragon/hp's have a look in the boss beastary to see how much damage each attack does.

Use a Shotgun, any of your chars are VIRIDIA or REDRIA ? Shotguns will hit all of Vol Opt Ver.2's second form's parts, killing it in no time http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

JUSTY is an excellent rifle, almost as powerful as the ANTI ANDROID RIFLE. Its special rocks ! I stick to it since I found one with 100% Dark (around Lv 120), and as you can see in my sig, my ranger's now Lv 161.

Shotgun or slicer, any of these two will cause multiple hits on the second form. On the first form concentrate with a powerful rifle (your Justy I presume) on the screen or on the damn things that pop up from the ground (mainly the red one). On your "customise" have trimates, dimates, monomates, and sol atomiser (or antiparylis) and just have two attacks available. Carry scape dolls if you got any. On second form run like hell from the missiles and those stupid red lasers of his. After his last stomp, stop turn to it and do 3hit combo, and run like hell again. Good luck.
