PSOX-US: Music cutting off in Forest area

In the Xbox version of PSO everytime I play offline into the Forest, area after a few minutes the music cuts off and all I hear is sound effects.

Everytime it does that, I have to quit the game because I feared that if I do enter a teleproter to the next area (like Forest 2) the game will crash.

Be aware in in mind that:
-I already cleaned the disc.
and
-I already checked the disc for marks.

Got any ideas to fix this? Thanks in advance.

yo man i had a similar problem with my xbox. Only my problem was that A) music would start stuttering. B) My disk drive would sound like a buzz saw sumtimes and C) when i turned it on, my power light was blinking green and red and i got a big message on my screen saying my 'Box needed service. In the end, i had to wind up sending it to MS to have it serviced. I havent had a problem since, but ive only had it since monday. one word of caution, if you do have to send it to MS to be serviced, BACK UP ALL YOUR RARE ITEMS!! Chances are great that MS will either replace your HD or wipe it out completely
