A question about the Flowens Sword AUW 3084

Help meeee! Ive got a question!
Ok, does the Flowens Sword AUW 3084 get the 50% bonus when both the Flowens Frame and Flowens Sheild equiped? The people at gamefaqs are being stubborn idiots =/ and they dont give me a straight answer. So someone help me out, does it give the bonus?

I think the 50% bonus only occurs with the AUW 1977 Flowen's Sword (Real), but I can't be for sure.

For one, there is no 'real' Flowen's Sword. They're all replicas.

Anyway. The one that worked for me was the 9 star rare Flowen's Sword.

yeah, it only works with the 9 star replica, none of the ten stars...what a bummer I know

In order to double check my comment, I went to the 'Rare Weapons Specific to one Section ID' guide because I recall, vividly, that beside 'Flowen's Sword (AUW-3077)' it said (Real). I go back to check just now and it says no such thing.

I hope I wasn't hallucinating, as I checked that listing way back when.

And ive got one last question, do you need the sword to get the defense boost for the frame and sheild? And does any other combanation of armors and weapons give you the defense boost WITHOUT the weapon? Ive heard of at least one...i think

To the original poster:

- The only Flowen's that counts towards the set is the standard replica. NONE of the ones with AUW in the description recieve the bonus.

- The entire set (Sword, Armour, Shield) needs to be worn to gain any bonuses.


Note this is the same for the DB's set.

3084 isn't that bad, especially if you have one with hit. It's got a great special that can do alot of damage, although if you're a hucast like me (with no tp for the special).. Then yeah, just for looks.

Why doesn't any of the DB's get a special?
