It sucks 10,000 Meseta per swing. But the description warns you already: "A legendary long sword for the wealthy".

Actually, the Vjaya is pretty useful when used against bosses such as De Rol or Balbarei. Approach their body (not the head) and start swinging that partisan. The special attack can deal crazy damage and dispose of them in a whoa.

It says it's for the rich and they aren't kidding. The special attack can do a ton of damage though, for those that have the money at least. I have 3 banks full of meseta and couple more that are getting there. I also have a good amount of dough on my chars that I can't get in the bank. Once I had over 700,000 meseta on my char because I couldn't put any more in the bank. I'm guessing that you aren't in Ult yet. After you get there and spend a good amount of time there, you'll gain money pretty quickly.
