Hi everyone, im new to PSO and would just like to know if you guys have any advice for making my first char, im playing on the cube if that makes any difference.

Every character is good... just all depends on what you really want to do... I recommend starting with a HUmar, since they are simple to use... good starting point yeah... or maybe a HUnewearl... but I guess go with what you like...
Melee is HUs
Guns is RAs
Magic is FOs

I agree, the most fun is just making a character from scratch and going with it for abit. You have space for four characters per memory card, so really use that chance(we could only have one character on the DC version).

It's more or less finding a character style that you like, and a play-style that you like. Thats why it's fun, you gotta jump in and give it a try to see what you're comfortable with. =)
