This is my ATP stat without shifta..
BKB:
1958(1163)
Red Sword:
1913(1163)

With shifta:

BKB:
2363(1163)
Red Sword:
2387(1163)

Red Sword might get a Shifta bounus, the same thing happens with Meteor Cudgel and BKB.

um if the bkb does get shifta bonus the bonus cant be as much as the red sword im gathering that as he uses a bkb to but red sword still does more damage.

1. Account for any variables. (IE: Determine level of shifta, MST, if the player had a Merge or something on, etc)
2. Check with someone (perhaps Sounomi) to see if RedSword gets a bonus to shifta.
3. If you cannot do step 2 and you have some 'skills', check for yourself.

My guess would be is that Red Weapons might get a Shifta Bonus.

wow.. that's EXTREMELY interesting. This kinda adds more reasoning behind certain weapon's star ranks. It always did confuse me why the Double cannon was a 12 star weapon and the BKB was only an 11 star weapon. The double cannon has a better response with shifta apparantly.. and the thing with the meteor cudgel is really intriguing.

However... the meteor cudgel is craptastically inconsistant. Like the red sword, it can deal great damage, or shitty damage. So the real ATP of the weapon ends up being the average of the two extremes. The demolition comet, however, is right on +590 every single time. I've never used a weapon as consistant as the demolition comet.

So that explains why my Prophets is so receptive to Shifta, compared to a Storm Wand: Indra.

And I always thought it had to do with how many "stars" the special was worth.
