your BBA plugs into the base of your gamecube,, a wire goes from the BBA to your internet conection, which you have failed to describe in enough detail, if you want help setting it up.

router
usb modem
cable modem
dsl
cable ethernet
dsl usb

Location in the world

next question, what type of DSL modem do you have, and how is it conected to your p.c?
USB
Ethernet is it a combined router modem, or just a single modem?

You just connect the GC into the network like it was another computer. I have mine plugged into the network card in my PC (I just have to have the PC on to play it online).

heres a few options for setting up

Un plug the ethernet lead going to your p.c and plug the lead going to your gamecube in

Get another network card for your p.c, and conect your gamecube to you p.c using a croosover cable, and internet conection sharing.

Get a router, and put that between your modem and pc
Modem>--<Router port1>--<P.C
port2>--<Gamecube
Port3>--<spare
port4>--<spare

Get a combined router/modem, this will be simalar to the device you already have, excpet it will have 4 ethernet outputs, esentialy two boxes in one device
