So DF form 3's claw swiping attack has fixed damage. Does anyone know what it is in each difficulty (excluding normal for obvious reasons)?

Right, I've read that before (and again just now). It says his swipe attack has fixed damage but it doesn't tell what it is.

Yes it does, the Atp = Damage it will do.

I have to ask, where does PSOW get the names for the attacks? I mean, some are obvious (Rafoie, Rabarta, Grants, etc.) but are the other ones just made up?

I'd presume they're made up. They were never unclear as to what the attack was (if they called his swipe a "Circle Moon," one would definitely need the picture), so it's not a real big deal.

As a matter of fact, it would appear that Dark Falz' swipe is missing from the list of attacks. Am I wrong?

I thought those were different attacks.
Doesn't DF3 also have an attack in which he drains Hp to replenish his own?

In versions 1 and 2 when you locked onto a darvant you got the normal targeting box telling you the name and attribute of the target. Its name was "darvant"

Thats his 2nd form.

The guide has all his attacks, don't worry about it.

I fought DF again on Hard. His claw swipe thing did 250 damage. Just what the guide said as the ATP of the "blade drain". Doesn't "blade drain" seem like an inapt name for such an attack? I get the blade part, but where did the "drain" come from? I think the guide should be changed to specify that the claw swipe and the "blade drain" are the same attack. Anyway, you were right Bit.

Yeah, I'll straighten 'em out.

Can the guide be made more specific to state that the "blade drain" is the claw swipe

(From the Dark Falz in-depth guide)

Dark Falz will just deliver a crushing slash on your character. This always does a set amount of damage for each difficulty, so if you have some units to boost HP, that's just dandy.

Right after this senctence it could say "Refer to the 'Blade Drain' attack above (N.B. the ATP is the damage it will do)."
Just a suggestion. Then we won't have such confusion.

I don't recall Darvant's name showing up on DC.
Anyway, you can still see its name through Word Select, on NGC and Xbox, too http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Just like the Dubwitch, the switch to kill Dubchich.

And also, "drain" does not necessarily mean "absorb", therefore it is a proper translation.

You don't remember it eh? Well, I do. So there.
Also when I asked about the "blade drain" name, I was asking an honest question, not being sarcastic at all.
