Seat of the heart help anyone

ok I got to the 2nd floor of the seat of the heart quest tower, but I never saw kireek. I followed the guide on the site word for word, so I could get the ragol ring. I died on the 2nd floor so I was wondering if I had done something wrong or he appears later in the quest... or I missed him. Any help?
