It's not really a consol it's more of a flash card but I heard it will also cover SNES and possibly NES games too. ::hopes for gobal coverage::

You know in China that bootleg and pirated items/software is very popular. This could be one of the few items to come out that just use illegal rom images on a flash card and allow you to emulate them on your TV.

Quite likely. It seems too low of quality for something Nintendo would make.

ive heard of this thing, its designed to combat piracy, once the flash card is used, its tied to that particular console, and the console is tied to the card, menang that its imposible to swap the cards or the console.

bearing in mind that not everyone in china can afford such quality that is nintendo, so they have to make something that would be acceptable in china.

I'm telling you...It has to be third party or not even real. The kind of technology it runs off would already be pretty high on China's price range, I mean its a multi-platform console fitted within a controller, that looks wireless from that picture. Besides, Nintendo would never make a controller as comfortable as the DC controller. lol

I mean...Nintendo wouldn't do something that cheap. They sell their GBSP for the same price as their GC, they sell broadband modems for 40 bucks! They sell that stupid e-reader for 40 bucks! And I don't think Nintendo would release ANYTHING ONLY in China, since both of their headquarters aren't even in China.

And lets not forget Nintendo's strong stance against Piracy. No way it would allow emulations on Flash Cards. Its just something Nintendo wouldn't do.

Actually, I think it is Nintendo's console. It was a GameFAQS headline I remember seeing (and reading the article) a while back.

Wow, your right. But just by looking at it I got the feeling it was pirated/etc.

This sorta makes me wish they'd re-release the old game systems with a set of games, or something like that. I don't want to see the games re-vamped and put on a 10-in-1 for the GC (but sorta like how they did the games in Animal Crossing).
