GC: A lil question about keyboards...

Ok then...first up, I'm in the UK. Datel's powerboard is out over here, but I've heard it's rather tacky, and it -is- £20.
So, are there any adapters that allow you to use a normal PC keyboard on your gamecube?
Also, since obviously whichever keyboard I use won't have GC controls on, how do you control your character?
Is it the keyboard in port 2 and a normal contrller in port 1?
Or do you have to play with nasty cursor keys and stuff?

1)there is an adapter

2)it does go in controller slot 2 hope this helps lol

And the Kb's are all the same...the convert works off a JP format, so some of the keys, aren't gonna do what the say they are.
