Round 1: Simply which is the best out of the two, for a person who will want to use magic and not weapons?

Round 2: What is a good section ID for a Force? (by good I mean one that will find some nice force weapons).

Round 3: Mags Mags and well Mags, simply what mag do u all recommend for a Force

Round 4: What force costume colour looks awesome with what colour mag?

Round 5: Well everyone needs a name any ideas?

My opinion: ORAN and PURPLENUM.

ORAN: easy Twinkle Star (Star Amp), Sigh of a God, Windmill, Prophets of Motav, C-Sorcerer's Right Arm, God/TP and TP/Revival XD Sting Tip, Demonic Fork and, if you're online, chance of finding a Psycho Wand from Gibbles. Not to mention easiest Aura Field, semi-easy Guard Wave and assorted Merges.

PURPLENUM: Branch of PakuPaku, easy God/Mind, pipable Psycho Wand, easy Summit Moon (Magic Rock Moola), Rabbit Wand (just for the look), Windmill, Sting Tip, Sigh of a God. Assorted Merges.


Round 3: Mags Mags and well Mags, simply what mag do u all recommend for a Force

The Mark 3 Mag is actually the best, because you can legitely raise it with a single stat equal to 195. But you need to find the Mag cell. Otherwise, any Mag with the highest MIND possible. If you like rare Mags, get a Nidra or a Sato.


Round 4: What force costume colour looks awesome with what colour mag?

Personally, I like the FOnewearl first white dress. And white Sato looks cute.

FoNewearl is best for offline. A support FO online can be a Marl fairly well, but the MST and power of a FoNewearl is unmatcheable on a single scale, though the Newm can take out ROOMS faster.

My face is painted as a Newearl, but I don't think it makes much difference to mags. Mine has a light purple Sato that matches the lips of the mage, but it's more coincidence than anything else.
Edit: I like to change my costume once a difficulty level, change the whole look of my FO.

While most people will tell you MST is where it's at, DEX is also good. Geist on a handgun type can easily give you back 100+ TP a shot if you can hit with it, perfect for leeching and avoiding using expensive fluids.

Kabanda, Bana, Sita, Savitri, Sato, Rhibhava(butterfly mag I call it)Ila. Rati is best on FOmars.

It really depends mostly on what you have already, though. I like playing as a Purplenum FoNewearl, but she mostly fills a gap in my item findings, and she's sporting a Summit Moon which she didn't even find.



Rati is best on FOmars.

Is it the worthless S&D? The incredibly bad feeding chart? Purely look based? What makes the Rati best?

Some ID Ideas are :
Purplenum- Good FOrce ID, finds FOrce weapons somewhat often, best chance of a Psycho Wand
Yellowboze- Finds all weapons at about the same probability, more Meseta found
Pinkal- Finds FOrce weapons most often, tech disks supposedly appear sooner
Redria- Finds Slicers and defensive items more often

And the whole "PINKAL find higher disks" thing isn't true.


Thats why I said supposedly. I think Sounomi said that they find Tech disks at the same time as everyone else. Many people I think still believe that they do have a better chance at finding them.

Go with the FOmarl. She is excile in Support Techs. She also has a powerful grants. ID to go for , would be pinkal or purplenum.

Give it up with PINKAL. PINKAL is terrible when it comes to Force stuff. It's a shitload of Indra and nothing more. The only reason I see getting a Pinkal is finding the Demonic Fork. Which sucks. And the whole "PINKAL find higher disks" thing isn't true.

PINKAL is great. By the time you get to Ult you'll have 20 each of all the 9 star wands and canes. ...And not a whole heck of a lot else once you get there. Meh.

PURPLENUM or ORAN, really, like someone said, or something to fill holes(I have a SKYLY FOmar. SKYLY is ass for FOs.)

I like the second row white costume, or the first row red and second row blue(Elly's and a pallete swap of it). With the first row red, I'd put an orange Sato or a Nidra of some sort. Second row blue, a light blue Soma(Which is a nice Mag with the annoying requirements of being raised by a B-type Hunter). Second row white, light blue Sato, which is actually light purple.

I don't see how since few enemies drop Indras before Ult and Pinkal can find the Club of Zumriuran in only one place, Ult Ruins 3 box. But, I do know what you're getting at, having had a Pinkal and all.

Sato are bleh to me for most uses, ditto Nidra, but eh. They're ok for some chars.

And Soma is cool. It's a dual shoulder Mag, easy to raise, and you can get more than 150 MIND on it. *shrug*

As for Pinkal, yeah, I realise. But it might as well be that way. >_<;;;

I finally made a FOmarl I liked the other day. She looked somewhat like a female version of my FOmar Helios. I need a 3rd memory card. Blah.

The only advantage Pinkal has for Forces is the quantity of amplifiers and coloured barriers it can find - Pinkal has twice the opportunities of any ID.

Pinkal can find all the amps and barriers and is the only ID that is that way.

And colored barriers are really no big. Just take the otherwise useless Photon Drops you get from all those rare hunts (53 in a week. Yeesh...) and exchange them with Paganini for said barriers; he has them all.

The Amps are another story, like someone said. Just make sure you only carry the minimum amount of P-Drops into Paganini's office with you, as well. That fatassed Bluefull will rob you clean if you carry them all.
