It says it in the Ep. 3 intro that Eps. 1 &2 took place in 3084, although that's on the A.U.W. calender. The calender doesn't matter too much though, seeing as you could guess that Earth would be more or less the same way in a thousand years, though maybe a bit more realistic.

Actually, it's believed that AUW 3084 is a reference to the previous PS games' AW calandar, which would put PSO 800 years after PS4.
