ive made some, just the intro video, some basic gameplay, and a char creation. this was for my it project. basically i captured it with some wintv application. so obviously it had to be run through my PC. its kinda complicated to set up but produced pretty good results in the end.

johnathn, i dunno if those videos you sent rbf will ever get put up. i can honestly ive never actually seen him online as a mod. i may have done, but its only been a very small amount of times. try sending them to an admin or someone whos on more than rbf.

In order to make the *best* quality video first off you need a computer with good RAM and a capture card with S-video in/out. then optional use a video cam corder to do the initial recording as it plays on screen. transfer from digital camera to the pc and hack it to bits in video editing software and voila(sp?)

...just take your TV's output lines and plug them into your VCR's input lines.

I see it as this:

1. Take DV camera. Plug into S-Video and audio of said gaming console.
2. Stream directly to computer via FireWire.
3. Edit using AVISynth (don't forget to deinterlace into 60 fps).
4. Compress. Enough said. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

ATI's line of All-In-Wonder video cards offer some very nice video capture solutions. With reasonable processor speed and a decent amount of RAM, you can record a good, high-quality MPEG-4 video using what you get from ATI right out of the box.

I've made a few DIVX movies showing the tekking of various rare items (1975 Agito, MKB). I then use them to make my firends jealous http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I think someone should make live action (or CGI) feature length PSO vidoes, like about RRR, or something!!

Check the link below for the 1975 Agito one. You'll need DIVX codecs in order to view it properly.

(Right click link and select "Save Target As")

I have some movies of some games from me and my mates in a quest or game. I also have a video of a Hildebear where I used a PB while the Hildebear was dropping from the sky(so before the PB he was still in mid-air). It was in the Forest, in the area before the building, where usually the warp is, so you can get on the roof of the building. Anyway because of the PB the Hildebear didn't fall where he normally would, but dropped straight down after the PB. Which made him stuck behind a wall. It was one of the funniest moments I ever had on PSO. And since that Hildebear wasn't going anywhere (stuck behind the wall and all) and I had no desire to kill it (yet, zonde could still hit him) I made a video of it, because as you all can see it is hard to explain this situation in words. I can't get the video online but I do have a little pic of it. As you can see on the pic there is little dot on the radar outside of the normal playing field, that is the Hildebear http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I tried this "glitch" a couple of times after that, but couldn't get it to work. Oh well I still have the video http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
