I have a modem adapter but I have a problem getting online, i think I have the wrong server for the Modem

I don't have a brodband adapter is it beter than a modem adapter???

The modem adapter is for dial-up internet. The broadband adapter is for using broadband, a LAN, a cable modem, etc for internet.

I use Comcast also. Purchase a BBA (Broadband Adapter) and you're all set. If you have a router than setup should be a snap. If you do have problems, head over to the tech support forums.
