Offline/Online Character question

Hey, this is prolly a newb question but i'm a newb so so there, haha. I dont have a modem but i am goin to get one, does my offline character transfer to online?

Your offline character and online characters are 1 in the same. Basically, there is no offline or online chars, there's just plain chars.

Any char can go online, all stats and everything stays the same.
