View Full Version : Yet ANOTHER way to dupe!?

Sure, sega has been trying hard to patch up duping and all, but people just keep on finding new ways to get around a new patch sega releases. Online, duping is everywhere, pleople duping everthing, the rearest items. And people only duped online, but these dupers never give up and have found yet another way to dupe...

Without going Online


Amazingly, there IS a way to dupe on the GCN without having to log onto the online servers, believe it or not. And it works. Now, before You guys start bagging on me I just want you to know one thing,

I AM NOT A CHEATER
DO NOT ASK ME HOW TO DUPE
OFFLINE I WILL NOT TELL YOU

I look down upon duping very much, but this duping method I found sounded so farfetched, I couldn't help but try it out. Now I won't release this method of duping, because I don't want PSO on GCN or XBOX to end up the way dreamcast did. But there is way to confuse the gamecube into doing two or three things at once (item shop, check room, and item pack, etc.) causing you to drop an item and desposit a copy of that item into your check room at the same time. When i found out this method worked, i was surprised! And also a bit worried, if this method gets around, PSO is screwed, and the fun of finding the rare J-Sword or Black King Bar (Which I found myself =P)is gone! The point is, as hard as sega may try, duping will always be around. A new patch every once and a while will only stop the dupers for a little while until they find a new way. Mabey some day sega WILL find a way to rid PSO of duping once and for all, but will the hackers around, PSO will always be a target. Online or Offline.

that methos has been around for awile now... i use it to back up my LEGIT items before i go online (i loathe FSOD)

OMG I had to double check the date on this post to see if it was one that someone resurrected from ALONG TIME AGO LOL. Dude hate to break it to ya, but this news is REALLY, REALLY old. Where have you been? This was very well known like 6 months ago and instructions on how to do it are all over the net so its no secret. The item shop dupe method is total common knowledge. Maybe in another 3 or 4 months he can post about the Max stats or Multiequip LOL.

I thought exactly the same thing at first, "how old is this thread", i then noticed that either devil chao has been in FK since time began or played pso too much, hence the low post count.

Yeah, I've known how to dupe long before the shop trick was discovered and of course that works offline as well.

Well could someone tell me how to do the trick? I don't have access to online mode so don't worry about lot's of dupes from me online!

ummm i dun think ppl should tell u how to do it not by posting it on this thread anyway maybe some1 will pm u. and the u cant do the shop dupe on xbox no more anyway ST patched it ^_^ gdgd but still bad for GC.

no ones going to tell you. When it first came out I did a search for 3 minutes and found out how to do it. If you want it so bad do search I garuntee you'll find.

You do know its against the Forum rules to ask for that info right? I'm not trying to hassle you, I'm just letting you know. Also don't be so lazy, I did a quick search on google and came up with numerous sources. The knowledge isn't exactly well hidden or hard to get.

Erm, wait a minute. The shop-glitch that has been known for a while and works both online and offline. But Devil_Chao starts by saying all duping (without the shop trick) is online.
I have seen several sites describing duping methods. The shop-glitch and the USB (= all offline) methods seem to be the only ones there.
So was there ever (on GC) another way of duping that only works/worked online????

And all the 56k dupers thought they were so damn special and had CONTROL over all the people who could not dupe(cause of BBA). Haha. What a slap in the face eh?

ya "Shop duping" has been going on for a while... First of all its against the forum rules to ask for cheats. Secondly, when I say there aren't any that would interest you, I mean that the few AR "codes" that are floating around don't do much. They certainly aren't anything that would help you cheat. In fact as far as I know an actual enable with a working hook has yet to be discovered/released. There are some AR codes for offline that enables "always have max HP" and "always have max TP" but they are hard coded onto a disk that comes as part of an accessory from a company I won't mention. Neither of the cheats display what the actual code is nor can they be editted. You can only enable or disable them. And as I mentioned, they only work offline.

Crap! That's all I was asking! I wass'nt asking you to give me the codes themselves just for you to tell me which ones they had! I thank you!
