While I wait for my Gamecube to be sent back (sent it in on friday), I was thinking... and I believe I have the real reason why you lose your money when you die!!

Now, people will try to say something stupid like "Oh, it's because you need some sorta incentive to NOT die" or punishment and blah...

No. I had my HUnewearl set up a hidden camera in the Hospital, and the shocking truth was revealed.

... The NURSES STEAL YOUR MESETA!!
Think of it: You're some guy/girl that's loaded, pockets are overflowing with that yellow gold. But, you're still unconcious, and that pocket is screaming at the nurses "Pick me! C'mon, he'll think a monster did it!" and BAM! When you wake up, sure enough, "Woah... I guess that Baranz knocked my Meseta away. **shrug**" and you walk away, never thinking to question it. Meanwhile, that wicked nurse just sits there, grinning, because she just gained 15984 Meseta, and the usual fee is only 10.

I'm reporting this to Principal What's-his-face when I come down from my high. Man.

I always thought that when you die, you lose your meseta because the hunter the retrives your dead body steals it to compensate their efforts.

Well, yeah. Of course they steal your money. How else could they afford to resurrect you. I don't think ten meseta could cover it. The principal won't help, he's in on it. Why can't you use weapons or techniques on Pioneer2? It's so you can't retalliate if you discover their plans.

Well, I suppose that they take the money themselves like others have said. Why not? Sure, when you are lvl >10, they take 10 meseta to heal 30 health. Im lvl 56, and they still take 10 meseta to heal 400 health. When you are unconscious, they take your money. How else do they stay so happy doing nothing but tending to wounds on a claustrophobic ship for weeks on end. My friend has a lvl 100 char, and his health is over a thousand, and you still think they would heal him from critical for 10 measly meseta? Please....fiendish little newearls....

I always figured the money got split between your HMO and Insurance company. Really.. you can be down to 1 HP out of 1,500 - and the price is still the same. 10 Meseta. How can they afford such universal Health Care? They take all the money you have if you die. That simple.
