how and can the BBA work with PSO? help plz :o]

im sure this question has been asked alot but...i just got a DC , PSO and a BBA. And i was wonderin if their is any way i can use the BBA to play PSO. i heard u can but its a pain in the butt but can someone PRETTY plz help me with sugar on top

i got another question....u dont have to use sega.net to play PSO right ? i mean u can use another ISP or whatever provider right? and if u can how would u get a diff internet provider to work for PSO? would u d/l it off sega.net?
i just confused myself....
