i just got dsl and i have a 56k modem of my gamecube.... can i still use it to connect to the internet on PSO?

No. The BBA works like a nic card. The modem is just that....a modem, it will not allow your dsl connection to access the Sega servers.

its possible to hook it up to your P.Cs modem, and get your gamecube mdoem to dial into your P.C then have your P.C send the internet conection down its modem to your gamecube.
i used the word possible, as its horendoulsy difficult to do, involves making a custom link cable with a capacitor, resistor, and a 9volt batery, messing arround with the regsitry in windows and even if you get it to work, you can expect plenty of disconections.

Solution:
Get a Broadband adaptor.
