RED Weapons?

do the red weapons do anything speical when you get them all cause they all seem to have letters on them.. so do they spell somthing ? just curious

Well, they're just really super-powered version of the most basic weapons. The letters inscribed on the weapons spells "Heathcliff". That is the first name of the man who became Olga Flow.

Also, the Red Saber is apparently the prototype of the Lavis Cannon, as they are the only two sabers I've seen in that design.

I mean, LAVIS CANNON is here since PSO DC ver1 while RED SABER only since ver2.

Perhaps the Red Saber is the prototype Lavis Cannon, but as Kefka pointed out, the Lavis Cannon has been around since V1.

I believe that all the "Red" weapons were developed using the experiments done on Flowen. Becuase of the whole P1/Dark Falz incident, they never got past the prototype weapons. Perhaps the Red Weaps are prototypes of hypothetical Lavis Weapons (Lavis Partisan, Lavis Handgun, Lavis Mechgun)? Just a thought I had.

But I wish the Red Handgun shot RED bullets instead of GREEN ones...T_T

No, RED weapons are prototypes of S-RANK weapons, I don't remember who says so, but it's in the game.

On NGC, no character can equip all RED weapons, problen solved.

I tried on DC, only HUcast could use all seven, nothing happened.

Heh. The red weapons are
1.) Memorabilia.
2.) A way to see Flowen.
3.) More powerful than non-rare weapons.
4.) (Mostly) have useful special attacks.

Red Mechs: Do Endless Nightmare 4 with ID's that can find Red Mechs. Me and friends did a few runs through it and have found 2 so far. The enemy that drops it (the big yellow one i think) is plentiful, to say the least.

So far I've found: Red Saber, Red Handgun, and Red Slicer (it's the normal weapon item I get from boxes with my Whitill in Ult Ruins 3, and also the most powerful weapon I have).

Another good thing is they all grind to 90! =)

RED PARTISAN 50% hit
RED MECHGUNS 45% hit
RED DAGGERS 15% hit
RED HANDGUN

The weapons were given to Rico by Flowen, according to the Episode I & II book, anyway. Well, er, that's what navi said, anyway.

Hmm, the whole Red Scorpio being a choice weapon of a secret society...sounds pretty interesting. There should be some other "proof of memberships* rare weapons...

Not even a RED Launcher could be a RED weapon. Rico is a HUmarl. A HU using a launcher? *nod-nod* I dont think so.

And yes, RED weapons are weapons that Flowen gave to Rico. Noone knows why tho.

^ It's assumed that Heathcliff was a mentor/teacher to Rico. I'm assuming that it was Rico who decided to engrave the letters on, personally. It would seem rather narcissistic of Flowen to have done it himself, lol
