Whats with the wolves?

I have begun to notice something strange. While play F1 a bunch of wolves jumped at me. After awhile they did their howl together. I saw the red and blue encircle them.

I then looked closely and noticed that it was not s/d but j/z. Why would they do this to themselves? Is this a mess up or am I not grasping something? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_confused.gif

When you kill the Gulgus-Gue (Ultimate) or Barbarous Wolf, all other wolves howl and cast Jellen/Zalure on themselves. It makes sense, since some wolves travel in packs, and are weaker without their leader. Also, when there are more than one Gulgus-Gue or Barbarous Wolves, if you kill one, the others cast J/Z on themselves.

By killing a Barbarous Wolf (the alpha of the wolf pack) you break the pack's morale--which is why they howl and become weaker. Elly mentions it in the VR Spaceship data.

I thought they casted s/d because you were too slow to finish them off quickly enough...

I thought the wolves were using S/D for the longest time. It took until GC for me to realize that they weren't. Whoops.

Then when we got to Ul and Zol gibbons, I thought they were using J/Z at first... >_>

Shame that they don't switch, I don't think I've ever been killed by wolves.

I've never noticed a difference in there attack or defense anyway. Un normal, to ultimate its all the same. In DC or GC.
