why is the lavis cannon called the "ultimate sword" if the orotiagito is in fact better?

i've recently had a chance to try both, and the orotiagito hits a good 100 more on critical hits, though the lavis does shoot stuff (useless might i add)

also, if you equip the lavis and then move the cursor over the orotiagito, the atp numbers go red, further proving the orotiagito is better.

I htink the lavis cannon is still better. Basically my canon has 50 on dark and my oroagito well it only has 20 on all and i only really go to ruins.

Danger Girl, Im pretty sure she means that the only way you can get a lavis cannon is by game sharking it. Its not available in the game normally, and I think the only way you can get it is through a sanctioned sega event.

ice_, the atp requirements for the orotiagito is like 470+ and the lavis is 500, if your atp is that high you can, i still have my friends

yeah, you cant get a lavis cannon without sharking it, or trading for a sharked one. i dont know how my friend got them, but i bet they were sharked, given the fact that that's the only way to get a lavis and that no one actually knows how to get an orotiagito

yesterday, i gave someone who was collecting mags a rudra (like lvl 25) that i was raising cause he was a nice guy, and he gave me a lavis cannon in return, i didnt even ask for anything, lol. i kept it just for the sake of having it, i prefer swords myself http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_biggrin.gif

Yeah..Lavis can't have % unless it's hacked.So if you have a % Lavis,congrats,you now have a hacked item!Only way to get it is to have an import(which is what Rage said..)and beat the quest there on and difficulty.So that means if you have all 3 difficulties...you can get up to 3 Lavises...well...that's my theory.

I THINK THE LAVIS IS CALLED THE ULTIMATE
SWORD BECAUSE OF IT'S "SUPPOSED TO BE UBER-RARE RARITY".
ANOTHER REASON WOULD PROBABLY BE IT'S USEFULNESS. IT CAN HIT MULTIPLE ENEMIES IF AIMED RIGHT AND DOES A GREAT AMOUNT OF DAMAGE FOR ITS SLICER-LIKE ABILITY.
THE OROTIAGITO CAN ONLY HIT ONE ENEMY AT A TIME. ALSO IF YOUR ATP IS MAXED

the lavis also fills you pb and does other things... some one even told me it glows some times i dont know if it true but...i do know for sure that is fills your pb slowly. keep using 9it to find out what all it does.

i dont like the lavis, but i do like the orotiagito, it makes nice cutting sounds. the lavis is kinda ugly and when i used it people seemed to think i was a duper/hacker/sharker, even tho i was only borrowing it from my friend. not so however with the orotiagito, i guess it was never mass duped

Actually, the Orotiagito was duped a lot...by an pre-psow, ex-friend...*grrrr* though pro'ly still others :/

You can find Agitos in Forest, Caves, and Ruins ^_^

Legitimate Lavis Cannons are extremely hard to come by, and it can be thought that 90% of the LCs you come across will be duped or hacked.

Compare this to another powerful weapon - the Dragon Slayer. Everyone knows how to get this weapon consistently (just kill the Dragon on Hard or HV mode), so a lot of the DS swords out there are actually legit.

If the Spread Needles, Heaven Punishers, and Lavis Cannons of the game had an equal proportion of duped-to-legitimate items, we'd know how to find those as well. And of course, they'd have jack for trade value...
