GC: The /B ships

I believe - based on things I've seen - that the /B ships in Japan are the ships on which you can do player vs. player battles in Episode 3. We'll know in a few days.

You remember that "Ep3 players will be able to connect to Ep1&2 servers" stuff? I think it's clear enough that Ep3 will have different ships, why else "connecting to Ep1&2 servers" is just something that -CAN- be done?

In Trial it seems we use same ships. Why do we need different ships? Dont need...no reason I think.

One Block= Ep1&2 Lobby 1-15 + Ep3 Lobby 16-20

so we'll have 4 up to 6 (with time) connected server sets soon? or at least new servers for each existing set? uhhuh...
i guess the ep3 users need something to log on to as well... hm...

I think it's logic that there'll be new servers exclusively for Ep3 games. If they were to include the Ep3 data and quests into the actual servers, that could cause a great delay in the load times when online, or maybe even a server collapse, due to the gigantic database they would have to manage.

It's better for everyone to create new servers for Ep3.

more like all servers get additional lobbies but those lobbies are two different types. the /B ships get battle lobbies and the others other...

i dont really see any sense behind this, but thats ST i guess... *shrugs*

EDIT: You know, the more I think about it, I think it means that we CAN connect to EpI&II servers and lobbies, but we cannot make or play games in the EpI&II server.

I dont think those servers will have Ep3 content. Servers with Ep3 content that Ep1&2 players can connect to? I dont think so, unless they add new lobbys that only Ep3 players can go to.

i think that ep3 will have new servers all for themselves AND use ep1&2 and use their old lobbies AND they will have they're own EP3 lobbies there too

You mean like EpIII only servers, but also let EpIII connect to EpI&II servers?

i dunno why i care since it'll be known in a few days, but i think ep3 uses the same servers as ep2. kind of how v1 and v2 worked back on dc. new lobbies for ep3 players, but same ships. the only thing i don't like so far about ep3 is the comeback of those gold name colors... hate those things ><

hmmmm......for those who haven't noticed, it seems that JP now has a 2 more ships down at the very bottom. I don't think they were there before.

Somebody already said this in another thread. The type of ship determines experience. Regular = less experience if you win, /B equals more experience if you win, but you'll lose XP if you lose.

Cool! So high level players wont be so stressed about losing. They can go to normal servers and play more relaxed games, or try stuff with less fear of losing
