Best items for a hucast and why?

What kinda of armor and sheild is best for a hucast? post why you think its the best

Best armors are either Luminous Field, Electro Frame, or DF Field. Can't honestly say which one is the best anymore, since there's so many conflicting reports on their stats and stat bonuses. Each of them is really good, though. Just be aware that the Luminous Field slowly drains HP and the Electro Frame has somewhat shoddy resistances.

There's two choices for shields. If you want pure defense, go with the Standstill Shield (strongest DFP shield in the game, and has decent resistances). If you're not to worried about defense and would like a small ATP bonus, go with the Kasami Bracer (good DFP, great EVP, great resistances, +35 ATP above class max).

S-Parts ver.2.01 or whatever is good for a HUcast at lower or intermediate levels, as it gives +15 ATA. Later on, a Kasami Bracer or Standstill Shield might be a good choice. As for armor, I'm not sure... DF Field maybe?

Actually, S-PARTS v2.01 is good when you are at a high Lv, when your DFP is high enough to allow you to use a weak shield. This will take your unarmed ATA to 206 instead of 191 (is that ok, Sounomi ? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif ).

As far as stats go the TRIPOLIC SHIELD is the best, but its so damn ugly so stick to what VulpesMundi said.

Armour : LUMINOUS FIELD or ELECTRO FRAME. DF FIELD is more likely to be compared to a GUARD WAVE than to the previous two.

ELECTRO FRAME is pipable in WHITILL Temple, STANDSTILL SHIELD in VIRIDIA Temple.
