Hey,

My game is showing up on monday, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I will be able to get online. I do have JP Ver 1.1 (even tho my license was made waaay back on Ver 1.0) so what will I have to do to get online? Just imput EpI&II serials and go? Will I need EpIII serials?

Thanks in advance.

Just choose online mode, if you have broadband it should auto-detect your settings. Use your 1.0/1.1 serials, not the Episode 3 serials. And be sure to use the same password as Ep. 1&2. It's really easy actually

yeah, basically if you have everything set up from 1.1 its easy. I had a little PW trouble, but thats over. you basically pick your char, and youre numbers should already be in the form, hit ok, the second set will come up, hit ok, and then your eppy 1&2 PW, and thats it

I have my Ep.3 on a seperate memory card, so if you do that just enter the serials manually http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Ok, all my Ver 1.1 settings are fine, so everything should work out http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Ah cool. Thanks.
Now I don't have to make this topic http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
So just put in the Ep1&2 serial (seeing as I am using a different memory card: the Ep3 Mem.card) and the password from Ep1&2? Cool.

So I won't use the Ep3 serials at all?
So have a free set of serials just like when I bought 1.1? Cool http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Can't wait till I get the game.
Dead easy online setups I love http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

hmm, I have no idea how to copy guild cards. It would be nice if you could though...

I still wonder why ST made it so you couldnt. You could transfer the Guild Card file back on PSO DC.

I think that is because on the NGC your serials are saved to a memory card and not like on the DC in the internal memory (which NGC doen't even have if I remember correctly). And because your Guild Card number completely depends on your serial. So on DC that number would just be provided by the DC, but perhaps on NGC the serials are stored in the Game File and therefore the Guild Card file can't be copied to another memory card? Perhaps I am just rambling LOL.
And -STE- I never heared of any method to copy Guild Cards trough offline multi. So enlighten me http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

That theory sounds pretty good. The NGC does not have an internal memory. At least to my understanding.

The guild cards are stored on the VMU on the Dreamcast. The only things stored in the DC flash ROM are the internet configuration, your serial number, your access key, and the timestamp of you first entering your serial number (used to lock your serial number to your Dreamcast).
