I was just wondering, how big is the andriod trap blast range? Like.. if I drop a freeze trap, how big a range would it have to freeze monsters? Been trying to find out, but it is kinda hard to nail it down...

Any ideas?

I dunno. You just get a feel for it with time.

Sometimes when I'm playing as my HUcast or HUcaseal I wish the traps would go off sooner. :/

its like 5 meters or something like that...

but doesent the range go up as well as the damage with level? (my HUcast is only 62 ATM)

I think the effected range increases with your level. My level 124+ HUcaseal friend's freeze traps cover a large amount of space that a level 20 character's traps wouldn't compare to probably. I could check later today though.

hmm with my hucsl, i think lev & in ult freeze trap range increases..
in a small room, a freeze trap can cover entirely
& duration also seem longer http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif
fire traps, on the other hand, still around medium range http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif
confuse traps, i rarely use, i think those are for fun
i wish they were paralysis or even poison traps http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif

Personally, I wish that there were Resta Traps that would heal allies. I mean, you're stuck on Di and Tri mates, so it would help, and there are mines that heal in the Caves! There aren't very many, but they do exist!

They would, because how monsters and Players get paralyzed is different. Monsters stay still, while players cannot act (except for the use of items).

From my experience, traps vary depending on the difficulty. In Normal they have an excruciatingly small range and slow timer, whereas in Ultimate the range is pretty effective and the timer goes off quite a bit faster (but still too slowly). Also, the timer goes off faster in any difficulty if either a player or a critter moves under it. If you lay a trap and run away it'll generally hang there for quite awhile until something sets it off.

Confuse traps for fun? well, go to a room filled with a bunch of hellish enemies that will trouble you to death, get in, set a confuse trap in a place you know that it'll reach many enemies, more than the half of them wait till it explodes, use a gun, and they're done. And if someone zalures them, they can be even better, because the monster will actually kill each other.

I dont use bots much, but when I do I use a handgun or something similar to set off the trap when I want it set off. Spose that could be a bit harder on a difficulty higher then normal but http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I think I got a RAcast just on Hard, but too lazy to use it.
