OMG! I made a Tsumikiri from a seald J-Sword!

I think I know why some people arn't getting Tsumikiri! I'm not sure, but I think hacked or duped sealed J-Sword wont work when making a Tsumikiri. I tried the exact same procedure with a duped sealed J-sword (internet) and on I found myself, and only the real one actually turned into a tsumikiri. my friend and I were in battle mode, and like it says on teh seald swords stats, we used every tech on it. including the effects of items like ancient saber(exp sucking ability). It didn't work for the hacked seald J-sword but it did for the real one! I'm so happy with my new sword! legit all the way too!

Yawn.... BTW I don't believe you. A straight dupe of an item contains the EXACT same code as the dupe. The game CANNOT tell the difference, ergo it would not react differently.

As was shown above, Barubary said a possible way to unseal it (I personally am waiting for video evidence, Baru has said she would get it, and so has Sonic).

Also, the all techs used on it has been tried and failed many times before. Check here (http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=69992&forum=7&10) for other proven failed methods.

Like I said above, that particular method had been suggested several times (probably 10+) in the Unsealed Theory thread. It was also disproven many times. There is no need, but for other possible methods, try the possible ones in the thread I linked to above.

Actually, if someone did find a way to unseal it, they would probably post it. There is no real need to prove something didn't work by video.

You would have to prove it did work by video though, as it has raised so much skepticism already.

As Baru pointed out, it seems likely that you need to kill 23000 enemies with it, so if during the course of his trying to unseal it with techs he happened to hit 23000, that may have triggered the USE option for him. He may have though it was the techs when in fact it was the enemy count. It's a Possibility.

perhaps there might ahev been a few flaws in my method but still, I don't think I have killed 23000 monsters with my seald J sword and I now have a legit Tsumikiri. I'd like to see everone else try to get a legitimate one instead of a dupe (although it wouldn't matter). I challange you all to try that. take a screen of the sealed J-sword with your character and the unseal option avaliable and I''l give you my Tsumikiri and sange & yasha.

Here's why:

Barubary and you have two very different methods.
Barubary is a well respected member of these forums.
I have no Idea who you are.
You've tried your theory once.
Barubary has tested her theory many times.

Barubary has no reason to lie and a very great reason not to.

However, I do like to take people at their word. I like Violetskye's theory that you probably hit the 23000 kill count during your unsealing process. Did you find the sword yourself? Did you get it from your skyly friend? If the latter is the case, who knows how many enemies he killed before he gave you the sword?

What I meant was, that anyone making any claim should back it up with proof. Just saying you did it proves nothing.

Also, anyone coming up with a video showing failure doesn't prove it can't be done. Showing a video with success definitely shows it can be done...

I fail to see how anyone could make a video showing Scott_Kuda didn't get it right. It just remains unclear what happened in Scott_Kuda's case. And although, for now, I believe his claim that he legitly unsealed his legit J-sword, I don't know what to make of his claim on how he did it. Perhaps, when there are more reports of ppl getting it right, we will ge a better insight in this.

But to ask a topic related question, suppose I find a J-Sword and I wanna try unsealing it using the 23000 kill method. How many runs through what area should it take?
I heard a claim that a complete Forest-DF run is about 3000 or so. That would make it a little over 7 of those. I don't know if that figure is online of offline, although I expect the number for online to be lower than offline.
Uhh, anyone ever counted the number of enemies in each area?

I tried it with a dupe Seald J and one I found myself. and for percent, um...I think one thing is 20% and one is 5%...I can't remember..I can only play on weekends. And yes, the double cannon is mine. It took me forever to find the lavis cannon and the two sycesta but it is worth it! *vroom vroom* *slashing at indi belras*

I just noticed. I often start a session with an offline Forest run. And when I get online I am often the first, so in the time to I have to kill I also do Forest. I see the same patterns as offline, but with more enemies in'em. I also noticed I get more waves of enemies sometimes...
