Is it really worth getting online for this game. I wanna know what the people who play online think, which do you like better and what are the good points about both

I for one don't think any online play should cost money. The game is 50 bux, and that 50 should include unlimited online play too. Not only that but we have to pay for internet service anyway. Sure, if you love the game and play it nonstop, go for it, it'll be worth every penney for you. But for a casual player like me, nope can't say it's good.

I've found online has a lot of good things while only a few bad. The advantages I've found are faster leveling, lots of people who can help you out if you need them, and finding many more rares. The only downsides are FSOD, corruption, and jerks, but I have only run into a few nasty folks online. And stay off of the US ship Vega if you do go online. Offline you can level up safely and do multimode with friends, but online is just way too much fun.

Well see I want to get online but right now being so close to christmas I can't just go out and by a modem so thats a problem and my mother keeps on telling me that she is thinking about getting braodband but then she just changes her mind and I would be pissed if i decided to buy the modem adapter and then she got cable.......so yeah quite a problem i'de say i guess I will wait till after christmas and see if i get what I want then if I don't I will go buy a modem.

Why not ask for broadband, a BBA (go to Nintendo.com (http://nintendo.com) to order one... it's in the "Store" area) and a Hunters License? This way the Internet doesn't take up the Phone Line, You can get online, and then we can all have a Christmas Bash on the internet!

Hey, I just ordered my BBA, I would through a party for you if you got online http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

The online and offline portions of PSO wouldn't be complete without eachother. Offline you make progress so you can access more things Online, and Online allows you to gain the experience and special weapons/armor you'll need to have an easier time making your way through Offline. The two modes combined complete the gameplay aspect.

Online definately, you can talk while you ass off, extra inventory space if you trust them. Go on nifty quests, beat the crap out of Falz(Farusu) and if you die..there should be some one to res you...http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Also EB carries the BBA (online and offline stores) so no need to order from Nintendo...save on shipping...
