Striker of Chao...

I have the branch of pakupaku and a chao mag but they arn't fusing together!!! It took me forever to get my chao mag (2 days, I know isn't long but that's all I did...) and they arn't going together. I equip my brnach then try to use the chao on it but it just says equip...what's going on?

Chao has to be level 200 =).
also you can get a striker of chao in Towards The Future. Just beat TTF, then after you recieve your rank, go into the hospital and to the left will be a warp. go in the warp and you will be in the ruins, keep going through the big room till you reach the water fall. With the Branch Of Paku Paku equiped, stand under the water fall for a minute, dont move or anything. After a bit a Chao will come and land on the branch wanting Paku paku nuts, finding out there is none it discovers your fighting monsters. It will want to assist you and wala! You have a striker of chao ^-^.

woo! sounds good...but then what's the point of my chao...display I guess. I have too many rare mags... meh..TTF here I come!

No...not trading...I raised it myself. I had planned on making one around halloween when I got the heart of chao...I got side tracked...2 days for a level 145 isn't bad. he's got 36/37/36/36...all around not bad. anyone want him?

Well, you'll definetly want a Striker of Chao. They look outrageously cute, and they're actually a usable weapon. They add a nice chunk of DFP and MST, and they double the range of S/D. With one of these, and a Resta/Anti Merge, a FOnewm can be an excellent support FOrce.

I have a new FOmar, so I need to ask a few things.
1) Why u guys act like only FOnewm can use it? all forces can!
2) If I raise a chao mag, then use the waterfall thing to attach it instead of mergeing, will I be able to detach the chao for use as a mag again?

Answers:
1) FOnewms, unlike FOmars, do NOT receive a special boost to the range of S/D. Therefore, they can use it to cast S/D more effectively.

2) The TTF "Waterfall" trick does not require you to raise a Chao Mag. Just take the Branch of PakuPaku to that watefall, and hold it there, and talk with that chao. If you DO fuse the Branch and Chao Mag, you CANNOT split them back apart.

Well, if I were in your shoes, I would dupe the Chao Mag, and then make the SoC. If you don't have a problem with duping and you don't want to wait for TTF to be released on XBox, then that's one thing you could do.

I did the Chao thing with TtF last night. I'm pleased to say that the Striker of Chao looks really neat. And on the plus side, I get to keep my little Chao for some of my other characters to use!

I believe the TTF Waterfall trick works on any difficulty. There is no reason why it shouldn't. any difficulty. you dont even have to beat TTF in any condition. you dont even have to start playing it i think.

for the merging and parting. if you stay under the waterfall with a chao striker, it will start to talk again and leave you.
if you merged a mag with the branch, then its gone. you cant retreive it (no way to save its stats in the striker). you'll get the branch back btw.

hm, chao striker AND chao mag might look very nice on a fonewearl...

Hmm, you're right, you know. Those are 2 of the best items you could give to a FOnewearl. Summit Moon boosts Basic techs 30%, SoC adds a large chunk of MST and DFP, and doubles S/D range. A FOnewearl with those weapons would be both a lethal magician and a great support FOrce.
