Well, I got myself a really crappy $20 webcam from Wal-mart, and took some pictures of my wife's HUnewearl costume. So, here's a look...

heh, thats cool, even though its really grainy. what did you use for the sword? looks like a giant sized glowstick.

also, are her ears photoshopped to look elfey? or is that some kinda makeup thing? (sorry, but its weird to see someone actually dressed up as a PSO character and not look corny as hell)

The sword is a very generic light saber toy thing. Ironically, the low-quality results from the camera actually made the sword look better in the picture.
The ears are the glue-on type. Took forever to find ears that length. We had these just normal elf looking ears, but you could barely see them out from her hair. Then we got those nice long ears. Much much better for Newman costumes. Found them here (http://www.aradani.com/elvesofaradan/index.htm).

is that a mag tail??

the entire costume has turned out well, hell if they ever make a pso movie, your wife could get a part in it!

So, anyway... Yeah, that's a Panzer's Tail mag she's got there, and yeah, the light in the uber generic light saber toy was turned on to get that effect.

Ooh, awesome pics!! *G* I like how the costume came out. My sister, me and two of our friends might make some cossies... Depending on how soon we get some MONEY. *g* I'd be a FOne (along with one of my friends) and my sis and the other friend would be HUnes.

I know how to solder metal! But I don't think that's really what you meant... If there are any sculptors or anything that use that sort of stuff in your area, you could ask them... Other than that, I have no idea.

I've made two PSO Costumes before. One was a stupid looking HUmar, and I'm working on a RAcast made out of cardboard boxes.
Great job on the costume, though!

I just remembered this but in an earlier forum you said if anyone could guess what celebrity you use to trac Meira's face on your banner then you would give us a sneak peak at VanGarret. Since your releasing that on Friday, who did you trace???

Yeah, I gathered that it was a joke, hence why I responded in the same tone.

Sarcasm really needs to be carefully worded on the net, if it is to be interpetted as something other than flamebait. Adding, "Cool!" to the end of a derogatory statement does a pretty good job to drop a clue to the sarcasm of the phrase, but if someone thinks you have a reputation for flamebaiting to begin with, then the results of even a friendly statement may not be as intended.
