View Full Version : Imperial Pick, worth hunting for?

SO i got my Force to Ultimate today
(at the nice High Lv of 38 http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif)

And since its bluefull i noticed that i can find Imperial pick from gulgus gue!

My question is, is it worth hunting for? And whats the best place to hunt for it? Quest or just doing runs?

It's good but not that good I would go hunt for it if you just want it or just want it cause it looks cool. I would just do the runs cause it's easier and you can grow levels more better cause I was looking for the same thing and found 2 of them in 5 runs.

...or just dont bother? im sure your other stuff is much better than that (seeing as you're in ult at level 35...)

If people think the point to this game is to have the best weapons, then they do not get it at all. And BLUEFULL cannot find RED PARTISAN, and IMPERIAL PICK is better (special) and looks better.

The Red Partisan has almost 100 more ATP that the Imperial Pick when it's fully grinded

Wow! 2 in 5 rounds? That sounds like pure luck!

Well yeah i got better weapons!Stick around with a Soul Banish, but imperial pick look so damn cool!

Since it'll surely take about seven hours to find the pick, just get the S-Rank instead. It is the most powerful Partisan, but not exactly that accurate. Accuracy will net you a Soul Banish or a Red Partisan. In either case, there's no reason to want a Pick outside of the way it looks.

Provided thay all have 0% to Dark, then go to Ruins, use all 5 (SOUL BANISH, RED PARTISAN, S-RANK PARTISAN, IMPERIAL PICK, BERDYSH), and that's what I did.
Result : damage done from 4 of them does not vary over 15 (HUcast, base ATP 1522). For some unknown reason the SOUL BANISH is clearly more powerful -- as powerful as my CHAIN SAWD, actually... this weapon's weird http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

So none of the 4 others are really "better". Of the 4 the IMPERIAL PICK looks the best and has the best special (thing you forgot, Zarana). The S-RANK is a good point but it cannot have %, it looks ugly, if you want an S-RANK to choose its special, pick the SWORD http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

So you have to hunt around in the Forest for at least 7 hours, huh? Yeah, sure... For me, I just happened to see a Gulgus-gue drop one in one of the few Ult Bluefull game that I've played in and those surely didn't add up to 7 hours. Also, as everyone's been pointing out, the Pick does have a decent special, especially if you can get one with hit.

Halving enemy HP isn't all that great. And yes, the special halves enemy HP, it's not Hell. That line about killing in one hit is just as accurate as Gae Bolg getting stronger the more you use it.

Try to get a Flowen's Sword 3084 if you can.
Or get a Red Partisan from a Pal (Im pretty sure it's Pal)
Imperial Pick just has the looks.

When I still had my Bluefull RAmarl she did around 150 or so HS runs and got a grand total of 3 of those things. Just my luck probably. It does look cool though and the special is nice but if I use a partisan I personally use my Red Partisan.

Huh thats strange! Just did endless nighmare but it was like 4 gulgus-gue but it says 33! Where are all the gulgus-gues?
