Mega Chainsawd :X

A while back I lost my chainsawd to a PKer. It was around the time that PKing got really big. I told a friend, but he didn't have one. So he told some other person he knew, and the guy came in and gave me one, for no charge. I was just like, "Woah, what a nice kid!". Anyways, I equip it and go down to the ruins. And I see that I am doing 700 damage! Thats a big deal for a ranger. So I check out the swords stats and see that it has 50% to dark and 35% to A.Beast. I dunno if this was duped or hacked. When I got it, it had only been grinded to +2 so that makes me think it might be legit. If it is real, how rare do you think this thing is?

Anything over 3 gold stars, and most 2 stars are duped. If you were to find a heavens punisher or some extremly rare weapon, are you going to give it away so easily? He has a chainsawd with great % why would he just give it away? If he didn't need it, wouldn't he want something he did need in return?

So yes, It probably is a dupe. I say you sell it unless you found your orginal chainsawd. If you found it, then you deserve to have one. I know that if I found a good weapon and lost it to some freak accident, I wouldn't care if the next one I got was duped, since my orginal was legit and it wasn't my fault I lost it.

Anyways, I'd have to agree and say that Chain Sawd is duped or hacked. No one gives away super rares for no reason, even if you don't need them, the whole point of the game is (after you beat it) pretty much just collecting. You should still keep and enjoy your Chain Sawd though, as there is no way to tell 100% if it is duped or hacked and wasting a perfectly good super rare just seems dumb. My 2 cents.

well the stuff i give away is not duped and or hacked and if i don't use it i give it away regardless of %. but i do have an oroagito which i made meself with 20 on all but a. beast and thats 1 thing thats stays with me no matter how much someone begs for ithttp://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

I dunno. I give away pretty much everything I wouldn't use on my character. For example, if I found a chain Sawd, I'd simply give it to someone in my guild without asking for anything in return. I simplly wouldn't want one.

If I found a heaven's punisher, or some other rare gun. I might save it for another character for myself.

If I found a spread needle, I'd start a single player game. De-equip my mag. Initiate a fight with Dark Falz in VH, drop the spread needle, then quit. Frankly, that gun disgusts me.

If I found an Orotiagito, I'd keep it, and start a new character with a Ninja/samurai motif so it wouldn't go to waste.

PSO just isn't a game where I feel I NEED to have the ultimate weapon, and do the max damage to everything in the room, all at once.

If I wanted to kill everything on the screen with a single click, I'd play Diablo 2 and resume one of my Whirlwind/lance barbs.

And keeping rares for trading is pointless, seeing as you can't really trust anyone. How can you even tell if an item is legit or not? Technically a legit item is the same as a duped item (unless it's been modified to do more then it was supposed to, as is the case with many). So you'd never really know.

yeah...i feel the same way, i dont play the game to get the best weapons. and the way i see it, anyone who is willing to trade a good rare did not find it and probably has 3 more in the bank, cause as anyone who has found a good rare will agree, they wouldnt trade it for much of anything

That was probably me or one of my friends that gave you that Chain Sawd. And no, I did no find it. My friends and I trade a whole lot and we desperse the items amongst ourselves, and if I like the person of find out the lost something I usually give that person an item or two. Harm done?, none really since sooo many dupers have already decreased the rarity of these weapons.

Eh? Why so? Because it's too good, or because everyone has one? Personally if I found a spread needle, I'd shout it from the rooftops, because I'd probably be just about the only person in the entire game who owns a legit one.

Why bother initiating a fight with Falz as well - why not just drop it then quit?

Speaking of dupers and hackers.....

Friday night, while probing the EU lobbys, I met a guy who helped me lvl-up my 2nd char, Angel. He was cool and helped me gain quite a few levels. Then he pulls out a host of v.rare weapons.... he demonstrates their attacks and drops them after 1 by one.... Impressive as they were, the items were clearly duped and remained on the floor... When I asked how he managed to stay online without Sega kicking him off, he replied his items were special and cannot be detected by Sega servers. After hearing this, I lost all gaming respect for him, thanked him for his help, cast ryuka and found someone else to help me out!

I give people things if I don't need them. Not if they're cool though. I don't care how rare something is because like, everyone in the game has these so called rares now. I just bought some on eBay! Heh. I like the cool stuff. I'm a natural collector. So I have 2 dragon slayers (+2 and +4) and an origato or whatever and Flowens Sword and some weird ass guns someone dropped. I can't use any of them yet. I just sit there at the bank looking at them going "oooooh". ANyone read that book The Collector? Yeah, i'm kind of like the guy in it. Though I try not to give in to the impulse to kidnap girls and put them in my base ment so I can talk to them. I'm not THAT lonely. *Cough*

I've met with some of you people. If you haven't noticed but I give super rares away for free sometimes. I am no duper or anything like that. If I see a person in need of something I usually give them something butnot super rare unless if they stay in throughout the whole game and I get to know the person more.
