Yellowboze Luminous Field

Now that my FOmar is level 102, I thought it might be time to search for a decent level 101 or so armor. The Luminous Field seems to be the easiest to get, from a Hildelt. I'm going to do Forest of Sorrow runs until I get one... The drop rate is 1/1205, any idea how long it will take, those of you who have found one? How many FoS runs do you think it will take?

its seriously up to chance u will get it when u least expect it, thats what always happens... i got it in a normal forest run with a yellowboze friend... so its chance really...

I found a very good one trying to level up in TTF. Oh, and this was Skyly, and nor was I looking for anythign in particular either ...

I found one with my FOnewearl doing a regular forest run. Great Defense too.

I randomly found one in a Heat Sword run (Stupid Tollaw still hasnt dropped Agito...) And it is a VERY good armor.

My advice: DONT go hunting for it, just do lots of regular forest runs and find it randomly

I got mine from a tallow in a forest run to level up my Hucast Pinkal. wasn't even looking for that....

And was it still better than the average GW?

I did over 220, til I got mine. Got REALLY good stats on it and it was 4 slots, so I guess I didnt totally waiste 2 months of my life..... 220 FoS runs yeilded 5 torrs I think? Got 2 frozen shooters, one with 35 hit http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I saw 5 torrs, 4 frozen shooters. no percents on any of them.

the lum. has 214 def and 135 evp. I dont know what a aaverage GW would be.

but most people that find one in about a week of not looking get them with 2-3 slots and 250+ def.

well when i last went hunting for one... it took me a total of... 2 FoS runs to get it. i got another one in a regular forest run. and actually the average def for a luminous seems to be more around 220 or 230, not 250. the one i found in FoS was 249def and the one i found in the regular forest run was 198def ^x^ honestly... why did you spend such a long time looking for it? 4months... even if you were looking for something like gene flow or sealed j-sword or something, and you found it after 4months of looking... thats still a large waste of time. i mean come on... 4months? just finding an item? sheesh...

Isn't it what PSO is all about ? and he surely found other stuff beside the LUMINOUS FIELD (didn't lain2k3 mention 4 FROZEN SHOOTERS ?) so it's not "an item"

well ya pso is about hunting for items, but 4months dedicated just to an item is kind of absurd. and yes, it was "an item" he spent 4months to get, even if he found other items along the way.

I also got a pal rappy and a hildetorrr to be in the same room!

For Yellowboze, my first LF came after about 35-50 FoS runs, it had about 238 DEF w/2 slots. I got another one after less than 10-15 runs, but it didn't have any slots. It's all pure luck, but you shouldn't have that much trouble getting it.

I dont know, four months is a long time to look for one item. I rarely find the one i look for, but happiliy, and accidently stumble upon it when just doing other stuff. then again, if you really needed it I guess it's understandable
